When to choose keratin blowdry
Choose keratin if your main issue is frizz that will not sit down, coarse or thick hair that fights a blowdry every morning, or if you want the smoothest, straightest result possible. Keratin bonds to the hair shaft and lasts longer, but it does reduce natural movement.
When to choose hair botox
Choose hair botox if your hair is fine, damaged, coloured, or if you want smoothing without losing bounce and volume. It rebuilds condition rather than laminating the surface, so hair still moves and takes styling well.
Aftercare
Both treatments prefer a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner for the first 72 hours. Avoid tight tying, plaiting or clipping the hair back for the first 48 hours, and keep it away from swimming-pool chlorine and hard sea water where possible.
